Florida ProMovers

Tallahassee, FL (July 30, 2013) – Seventeen moving companies are certified as Florida ProMovers by the Florida Movers and Warehousemen’s Association (FMWA), the industry’s state trade group.

Those who have completed the certification include A-1 Moving and Storage, Best Moving & Storage Allied Van Lines, Browning Moving & Storage, Coastal Van Lines, Inc., Coral Springs Moving & Storage, Florida's Moving & Storage, Forward Van Lines, Golden Movers, LLC, Hilldrup Moving & Storage, Inc., Hughes Relocation Services, Lakeland Moving & Storage, Modern Movers, Inc., Nobel Van Lines, Simmons AmeriMove, St. Pete Moving & Storage, Inc., Suddath Relocation Systems and White Glove Storage & Delivery. After passing a background check of their operations and agreeing to abide by the Florida ProMover set of honorable business practices these companies have been deemed Certified Florida ProMovers through FMWA.

"I am glad to see that the Florida ProMover movement has taken hold,” says Corey Mathews, executive director of the Florida Mover’s and Warehousemen’s Association. "This certification is very important for our industry as it not only recognizes the companies who have maintained respectable reputations, but those companies who believe in the moving industry and the necessity for quality products and services.”

Consumers can easily locate a Florida ProMover in their area. Each member of the elite Florida ProMover family can be found on the FMWA website, www.FMWA.org, and on the American Moving and Storage website, www.moving.org. In addition these seventeen companies have been authorized to display the bold capital "M” logo that is the mark of a Florida ProMover in their advertising and marketing materials as well as on its website.

"With the long history Florida has with rough movers, the Florida ProMover program will help consumers breathe easier knowing that they are hiring a quality, reliable moving company.” said Mr. Mathews. "I’m delighted that the Florida ProMover family is growing steadily. I believe with time and consumer awareness, the Florida ProMover family will be the first place consumers look for an honest and dependable moving company.”
